At Little Trevothan Camping and Caravan Park, we know that a family holiday in Cornwall isn't complete without your canine companion. We are a proudly dog-friendly holiday park on the Lizard Peninsula, welcoming well-behaved dogs to join in on the Cornish adventures.
Whether you are looking for dog-friendly camping pitches, touring caravan spaces, or a stay in one of our dedicated dog-friendly holiday caravans, we have the perfect base for you and your pooch.

On-site dog facilities & exercise areas
We want your dog to enjoy their stay just as much as you do. To keep those tails wagging and paws clean, we offer excellent on-site facilities:
- Dedicated Dog Exercise Area: A safe, designated space on the park for quick stretches and daily breaks.
- The 1.5 Acre Meadow: An expansive, open and enclosed field available during dry weather - perfect for a proper run-around and burning off some energy.
- The "Sloosh Puppy" Dog Rinse Station: The ultimate post-beach pickup! Perfect for washing away the sand, salt and mud after a fun day exploring the Cornish coast.
- Sir Woofchester's Dog Treats in our Shop: Spoil your pup with the very best! Our on-site camp shop proudly stocks premium Sir Woofchester dog snacks and treats, so your four-legged friend can enjoy a holiday indulgence too.

Little Trevothan is ideally located for spectacular coastal walks and beach days.
- Coverack Beach: You'll be delighted to know that dogs are allowed on the beach in the Coverack at all times of the year!

Dog-Friendly Pubs, Cafes & Places to Eat Nearby
Cornwall loves dogs, and you'll find a warm welcome waiting for your pet at many local attrations, cafes and traditional Cornish pubs. While we always recommend checking before you visit, here are some of our favourite local, dog-friendly spots nearby:
- Coverack: The Paris Hotel, The Lifeboat House, Brenda's Beach Cafe, The Bay Hotel, Roskilly's Organic Farm and Restaurant.

Little Trevothan Dog Safety Guidelines & Park Rules
Supervision and Safety First
- Constant Supervision: Your dog must be supervised by a responsible adult in your party at all times. This includes inside your tent, touring vehicle or holiday caravan.
- Reporting Concerns: The safety of our guests is our top priority. If you notice an unsupervised dog or have any concerns about a pet's behavious, please notify our family team immediately.
- Please Note: If a dog is not kept under proper control and poses a risk to others, we may ask you to remove the pet from the park immediately.
Around the Park & Restricted Areas
To maintain hygiene and safety across our holiday park facilities, dogs are not permitted in the following areas:
- The Children's Playing Field
- Toilet and Shower Blocks
- Indoor Washing Up Room
- Launderette
Leads and Exercise Areas
- On-Lead Policy: Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times while walking through the main park grounds.
- Where to Exercise Your Dog: Please do not exercise your dog around the main camping pitches. Instead head over to our designated on-site dog exercise spaces or our spacious 1.5 acre meadow where they can run freely.
- Scoop the Poop: You must clean up after your dog immediately. We provide dedicated dog waste bins across the park, and handy doggie bags are always available in the park shop if you run out.
Guidelines for Dog-Friendly Holiday Caravans
If you are staying in one of our static holiday caravans, please help us keep them in beautiful condition for future guests:
- Soft Furnishings: If your dog likes to curl up on the sofa, please bring your own protective blankets to cover the soft furnishings.
- Bedroom Restrictions: For hygiene reasons, dogs are strictly not allowed in the caravan bedrooms.
Restricted Breeds & Assistance Dogs
- Breed Restrictions: In accordance with UK law, we are unable to accept any dog breeds listed under the Dangerous Dog Act.
- sistance Dogs: We fully welcome registered assistance dogs at Little Trevothan Camping and Caravan Park. Naturally, these rules do not restrict you or your party from using an assistance dog exactly as you would at home to support a disability, provided appropriate evidence or an Assistance Dogs UK (ADK) identification book can be shown if requested.
