Escape to Little Trevothan, where we offer a peaceful, spacious and beautifully maintained camping site in Cornwall. Our camping season runs from 1st March until 31st October, making us the ideal choice for early spring getaways, summer family holidays, and crisp autumn breaks.
Whether you are traditional tent camping, touring in a small campervan, or backpacking along the stunning Cornish coast, our campsite is the perfect base for your next outdoor adventure.
Our Spacious Camping Field
Our main camping field features large, level grass pitches, measuring a minimum of 12m x 8m, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and relax.
- Pitch Options: Choose between standard grass pitches or electric hook-up camping pitches (10-amp).
- Suitable For: Tents, trailer tents and small campervans, caravans or motorhomes up to 6m in length.
- Capacity: Each standard pitch comfortably accommodates a party of up to six people, your tent and one vehicle.
HIKER & CYCLIST PITCHES (SOUTH WEST COAST PATH CAMPING)
Travelling light? We proudly support sustainable tourism and outdoor adventures. If you are exploring Cornwall on foot or by bike without a vehicle, we offer dedicated non-electric hiker and cyclist pitches. These budget-friendly spots are perfect for a maximum of two guests looking for a quiet night's rest while trekking the nearby South West Coast Path.
EXCLUSIVE SUMMER FAMILY CAMPING
During the peak summer school holidays we open up eight premium, extra large family camping pitches on the lower half of our playing field. All summer pitches include 10-amp electric hook-up in the price.
⚠️ Summer Playing Field Safety Restrictions:
To ensure a safe, fun environment for children playing in this area the following rules apply to these eight specific pitches:
- No Pets: Dogs are not permitted on the summer playing field.
- Car-Free Zone: Vehicles are only permitted on the field for unloading upon arrival and loading upon departure. For the rest of your stay, cars must be parked in our designated area just outside the playing field.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE INFORMATION
We want your arrival to be as stress-free as possible. Please keep our check-in guidelines in mind when planning your journey to the Lizard Peninsula.
- Check-In: Your pitch will be ready from midday.
- Check-Out: Please vacate your pitch by 10.30am on your day of departure.
- These times may be flexible outside of high season - just ask us!
- Latest Arrival: For the comfort of all guests, the latest arrival time for campers is 9pm. Pitching tents after dark is not permitted due to our campsite quiet hours.

Pitch Information
The maximum number of people per pitch is 6, apart from small hiking pitches where the maximum is 2.
- The camping pitch nightly rate includes 2 adults, one vehicle and one tent.
- There is a discount for single occupancy on all pitches.
- The hiking pitch nightly rate includes 1 small tent and 1 adult.
Tent pitches are 12m by 8m.
Please ensure your tent, car, guy ropes and any extras such as a gazebo will fit into this space without encroaching on another pitch. If your set up is very large you may need to book 2 pitches. Contact us to discuss.
Your electric hook up cable needs to be 20m long as some of our hook up points are situated on an adjacent pitch.
