SOME OF OUR HOLIDAY CARAVANS ARE DOG-FRIENDLY TOO

Little Trevothan Camping & Caravan Park is dog friendly, and we welcome well behaved dogs on all our camping and touring pitches, and many of our holiday caravans are dog-friendly too.

We have a dog exercise area on the park, and a one and a half acre field which is open in dry weather.  We are ideally based for walks further afield, and dogs are allowed on the beach in Coverack at all times of the year.  There is also a very useful website giving details of all dog-friendly beaches in Cornwall HERE.

Cornwall loves dogs, and they are allowed in many cafes, pubs and attractions.  It is best to check before visiting, but locally your dog is welcome at The Paris, The Lifeboat House and Roskillys in Coverack, The White Hart and The Three Tuns in St Keverne, and Fat Apples Cafe in Porthallow.

We have Dog Friendly Cornwall brochures available in reception.

WELL-BEHAVED DOGS WELCOME AT LITTLE TREVOTHAN

PARK RULES FOR DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS

  • Any dog you bring must be supervised by and under the control of you, or of a responsible person in your party AT ALL TIMES.  This means you may not leave any dog unsupervised in a tent, touring vehicle or holiday caravan or anywhere on the park at any time.  We also advise that dogs are not left under the supervision of any person aged under 18.
  • If you do not supervise and control your dog, we are likely to ask you to remove it from the park straight away.  This is because we cannot allow the safety of others to be put at risk.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the following areas of the park:
    • Playing Field
    • Toilet/Shower block
    • Washing up Area
    • Launderette
    • Games Room
    • Shop
  • If you see a dog anywhere on the park which does not appear to be supervised by and under the control of a responsible person, or whose behaviour gives a cause for concern, please tell us straight away.
  • Dogs must be exercised in the designated areas – you must not exercise your dog on the park.
  • Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times, apart from in the exercise areas.
  • You must clean up after your dog – bins are provided around the park and doggie bags are available in the shop.
  • Please provide blankets for the holiday caravans if you allow your pet on the soft furnishings, and don't allow dogs in the bedrooms.
  • We are unable to accept those breeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
  • Nothing in these rules prevents you or any member of your party from bringing an assistance dog to Little Trevothan, or from using the dog exactly as at home, if this is required to support a disability, and Assistance Dogs UK or any successor body has issued an identification Book or other appropriate evidence.

What our customers say

Absolutely Amazing Camping
Absolutely lovely place. Small camping with large, flat pitches. Very quiet, clean toilets, big washing up area and launderette. Nice playground. Fire pits and barbecues allowed. Shop available on site. Staff friendly and helpful. Perfect location for sightseeing - fairly close to popular tourist destinations.

Excellent Site with Everything you Need
Very hiker-friendly site with all the facilities you need on a tough hike on the coast path. Spotless facilities, plenty of showers, loos, washing up sinks and a laundry. Lots of helpful details such as washing line, little shop, device charging and lovely well looked after level pitches. Really kind touches were providing me with a table and chair, as a backpacker these little luxuries make a huge difference. It is close to the coast path and you pass another campsite, but I felt it was worth a little extra walk for such a lovely stay.

Short Weekend Break Away
Friendly, immaculate, beautiful, quiet are just a few words to describe this site. I'm sure there are lots more! I'll definitely be returning next year.

We Never Want to Go Home
Our 5th stay here, absolutely love this place and location. Spotlessly clean and comfy warm caravans. If you want restful relaxing quiet holidays this site is ideal. Had some lovely days out at Mevagissey, Falmouth and Lizard. Some great food eaten at Wavecrest Cafe, Roskillys Farm and in Coverack The Paris pub and the Lifeboat House never disappoint. Thank you.

A Little Piece of Heaven
My 5th consecutive year at Little Trevothan and that should say it all. Clean, tidy, friendly and the owners are a joy to deal with. They have a separate play area for kids so no balls hitting your tent! There's a quiet time to cut out late noise. It's not Butlins, it's just peace and tranquility, and perfectly located for getting about.
